The French baguette is very delicious but I see not future with French. Francophone countries mostly suck ass. Spanish is purely out of interest for the language plus I plan on moving eventually to New Zealand or Canada.

For Canada you get more points if you also know French on their visa application system. As for NZ, only English needed.

For Europe, really only French, German, and to some degree Russian can get you extra job opportunities.

I haven't studied in a while. I listen to Spanish songs, and sometimes look up the lyrics and try to translate it, and fill out the gaps. I need to get back on top of it.

I did, took a few lessons and abandoned it because it taught me odd sentences like "Ella camina cerca del caballo"

Has it worked for you? How far into Duolingo are you? If I remember correctly there are 3-4 main parts to the Spanish tree.

I think u used it in the past. A lot changed there are 7 parts now and you even have stories you can listen to and learn from and even podcasts it's fucking awesome and helps quite a lot.
