Am I a citizen of Somaliland?

The circassian is a very well known person in Jeddah his family is actually an aristocratic family called Al Baroudi (the manufacturers of the gun powder) one of the most famous members of their family was Mahmoud Al Baroudi prime minister of Egypt in the 1880s they are not strictly Egyptian though after Mohamed Ali Pasha wiped out the mamluks and kicked them out of power in the 1800s they weren't allowed in any significant position. They are originally from the Crimean Khanate. Now regarding us meeting our cousins not only did we meet our cousins from Somalia and abroad. We also became the defacto Somali consulate in Khobar. Many Somalis from all clans would come to my family asking for assistance. Most of my uncles and ants make over 100k American dollars (my parents make 200k dollars) (the average Saudi household income is 32k dollars a year) and they spend 30% of that at the very least assisting Somalis in Saudi Arabia and back home. I mentioned that my grand father was a wealthy person, most of his wealth went towards Somalis back at home and abroad even when he went to England in 1998 for treatment Somalis from all clans forgot that he was a "faqash" involved with Siad Barre and asked him for money. Many of our relatives in the west went their with our assistance (one of whom is married to Abdulqasim Salad's brother and I meet them). However; there's a very strong anti Somali sentiment among many of my family members against Somalis and anything regarding the Somali race. They see Saudi Somalis as a different entity and the believe they are superior to Somalis. One of them almost burst into tears when I showed him a comment on Somalispot asking if there are any "Somali millionaires" because a crazy amount of Saudi Somali households are in fact millionaires so imagine shattering that image just like that. Last but not least we don't speak Somali very often in our household we just say words like awoowe ayeeyo Ader but some of my uncles speak Somali at home. However, We had very little contact with our Arab ayeeyo as she was living in Jeddah and I was raised by my step ayeeyo (Somali Dulbahante Jamac Siad). She was considered our ayeeyo and we called her ayeeyo and She was even behind my parents marriage and her approval was requested.
You ever visit UAE, or are the Somali community in Saudi well connected with the Somali community there?

Congratulations now look up what Faysal Cali Waraabe says all the time.

SL tolerates the tourist politicians for their land and recognition based on the 1960 border
Faysal doesn't represent the people but himself and failed to become a president 3 times and the 4th is coming compare that to your official kins who go on tv and insult Isaaq community and shamefully say we're occupiers and encourage fitna between the 2 brotherly community is that what unionism means to you or you just oppose Somaliland because of your hatred towards particular Somali community?

Wow how insightful i guess it's possible by one or two more generation non of them will
see them selfs as somalis and perhaps become fully integrated like the zayali'a, jabarta and maqadisha of yemen. By the way i've seen a genealogical tree where these tribes exept the maqadisha share a lineage or an ancester with the somali daroods 'Ali zain al abidin or zain al din from Al Madinah Al Munawwarah' so you might not only be related to them but also following in the very same footsteps.
So is Al-Jabarti the egyptian historian Darood? U said he claimed to originate from bilad Al-Zaylac, but did he go more into depth?

Also did the all the al-Zaylici and the al-Jabarti descend from Darood? What ab the Eritrean Jabarti or that non-Somalis use that nisbah too?

Last, was the Al-maqadisha Gibil Cad (Reer faqi, Gudmaane, Shanshi etc.) or Gibil Madow (Bandawoow, Dawaaweyn, Morshe etc.)?

Al-Jabarti can only do abtiris to his fifth of sixth ancaster which was around futuh al-habasha.
His ancaster fled to mecca al mukarama where he worked for a while then moved to egypt as learned man and married an egyption wife. Al Jabarti only knows that his an aqili and that he came from bilad a zayla'. Al-jabartis parents were briliant mathematician and an inventar but he didn't write anything sadly.

It's not that they are daroods rather they share an ancaster with darood who all descended from Ali zain al abidin or zain al-din from Al Madinah Al Munawwarah. Ali zain al abidin or zain al-din gave birth to al-jabarti, al-zayl'i and ibrahim the ancestor of darood also called al-jabarti.
here is a video i found that also talks about it.

Al maqadisha were first mentioned in yemen around the 13th century along side al barbar and
a zayl'. That was 800 years ago. Today they are found in yemen and they look like yemenis. I remember seeing a general of a yemeni army called maqadishi.

The history of the name jabarti is long and complicated. The jest of the story is that
Al-jabarti is a nisba for a city called jabart and also awfat today called yifat and inhabited
by argoba and walashama assimilated into argoba since 1930s.

East africa were known by many name such as al habasha, tiras al islami, bilad al-ajam bilad a
zaylac bilad and bilad al-jabart. They didnt't distinguish between the ethnicities and used whatever name that was commonly used in there contry. Now this doesn't mean that people with nisba al-jabarti are not related. Not all of them are related but most of them are. You can check by examinin their linage. I came across a aqili jabarti name from sudan and when i did resarch i came a cross a sudani saying he is yemeni but his ancestors came from a mysterious country called zaylac.

I came a cross a detailed reaserch on people with the name al-jabarti. It's long but in summary usually people with nisba al-jabarti are also called al-zaylaci and they have an aqili geneology.

Finaly in regard to eritrea it's a combination of a mistake, fact and weirdness. There is i corner
in al-azhar called corner of al-jabarti and also called corner of al-zaylaci. It's students were
said to have difficulties prononuncing certain letter which coincide with the same latter modern somalis find difficult. Anyways it's believed to have been exclusively somali and even run by the family of al-jabarti the egyption historian. It eventually expanded to include eritreans and finaly it only meant eritreans so now eritrea is the land of jabarti despite not even being close to the vicinity of madinat al jabarti or madinat a zaylac

The corner of al-jabarti or a zaylaci existed since day one of building of al-azhar. In fact it's said to have been carried from Umayyad Mosque were it was before the the existens of al-azhar

A seconde reason why eritrea have jabartis is that somali who often times called jabartis regardless of their clan have traveled to eritrea and even settled their. There are gadabursi living among the saho there are other reer bari living in northern and southern eritrea. I even come a cross a piece of writing claiming that nur ibn mujahid children moved to eritrea.
finaly habash strated to call many muslims leving in ertria jabartis fo whatever rasone.

Now remeber i only touched on the subject and there is much more to be said.

You remind of Arabs who keep denying the existence of Israel like that's going to change reality. Somaliland exists and it's a success a story. Hargeisa today is way better than Hargeisa in 1960 or 1987 before it was bombarded by Siad Barre. Moreover, I am Ogayslabe in Somalia we are 0.5 in Somaliland we ate Warsangeli.
Cadaans have nothing to gain by recognizing you. Somaliland will never be a country, get over your delusion
