The Situation of Harti inanlayaals in Somaliland is very sad.

They're sugar coating SL being qabyalad free, when its the most anti-Darood state in Somalia. They had literal NSS chief Daahir Riyaale but a Darood born after 1991 is a faqash. I know how tribalist SL state can get, I used to believe in that shit before I visited Somalia for the 1st time and got my eyes opened. SL is an Isaaq+Dir state no self-respecting Darood consider themselves a Lander unless he wants to be a marti, a Darood in SL politics is a tourist at best and a faqash when they fall out of grace. Ataash an educated ex.CEO of a multi-national oil company was roasted in a room full of Isaaqs and both mucaarad iyo muxaafid laughed at him.
If we're tribalists we could have kicked ina koore out from Hargeisa after this comment he made in an event attended by Isaaqs Mujaahids and officials.

You think I live in a cave or something!! I follow the news niyahow and I know history.
Somaliland Guurti and party leaders peddle Qabyaalad 24/7 and tell stories of How Darod dominated and humiliated them to the media.

No Darod contributed to the building of the separatist state. you are showcasing your ignorance here by thinking Dhulbahante has one leader. The Warsangeli didn't attend the Somaliland conference and all bar one of the Dhulbahanta Garaads refused to attend the summit, the only Garaad who gave attention to the conference was there for peace agreements between his clan and the neighbouring Isaaq clans, not for state-building.
You don't follow the news except what your tribalists kins say on social media and Warsangali fully took part of Burco and Boorama conference including the whole Dhulbahante headed by their Garaad Garaad Abdiqani Grand Garaad of all of Dhulbahante and 2 of the head of Constitutional court of Somaliland were Daroods one Dhulbahante and 2nd a Warsangali so don't tell me your clan didn't contribute on state building of Somaliland.

If Dhulbahante and Warsangali are die hard unionist they would have shown that in 1993 Boorama conference objecting to the separation of Somali state and refuse take part of it that would certainly have and ended Somaliland's independence and instead transition to a Transitional autonomous state in the North whether it would be 2 or 3 states

I am a third generation Saudi Arabian 🇸🇦 my awoowe left Somaliland back in the 1940s to Saudi Arabia to for Saudi Aramco like hundreds of Somalilanders and other Somalis back then. He was an Ogayslabe/Warsangeli born in Laasqory in 1923-1924 and passed away in 2015. According to Somaliland's constitution if your father is a descendant of someone who lived there before 1960 you are a Somalilander wither you like it or not. So does this law/amendment apply to me?

All Dhulbahante and Warsangeli are Somaliland. It's something that should be promoted and celebrated.

I have plenty of family there. Don't worry about me.

Wait didn't you say once that you're of a mamluki origin and that you've got an arab grandmother not to mention that you're a third generation arab how is't that you still identify
your self as a somali just curious.
Never said I am a mamluk my maternal grandmother isn't a Somali that's all. I am an Ogayslabe Somali brother and my DNA confirms that.

Wait the circassian you've talked about must be from egypt therfore of a mamluki stock

I don't have a one somali parent both my parents are Somalis. My maternal ayeeyo is not Somali she is circassian paternally and half Sudanese maternally. So I should be only 25% not Somali but what is interesting to me is I got 18% Sudanese and only 2% from the caucuses which indicates that the circassian genes are recessive. This is my circassian great grand father who married a Sudanese women.

The circassian is a very well known person in Jeddah his family is actually an aristocratic family called Al Baroudi (the manufacturers of the gun powder) one of the most famous members of their family was Mahmoud Al Baroudi prime minister of Egypt in the 1880s they are not strictly Egyptian though after Mohamed Ali Pasha wiped out the mamluks and kicked them out of power in the 1800s they weren't allowed in any significant position. They are originally from the Crimean Khanate. Now regarding us meeting our cousins not only did we meet our cousins from Somalia and abroad. We also became the defacto Somali consulate in Khobar. Many Somalis from all clans would come to my family asking for assistance. Most of my uncles and ants make over 100k American dollars (my parents make 200k dollars) (the average Saudi household income is 32k dollars a year) and they spend 30% of that at the very least assisting Somalis in Saudi Arabia and back home. I mentioned that my grand father was a wealthy person, most of his wealth went towards Somalis back at home and abroad even when he went to England in 1998 for treatment Somalis from all clans forgot that he was a "faqash" involved with Siad Barre and asked him for money. Many of our relatives in the west went their with our assistance (one of whom is married to Abdulqasim Salad's brother and I meet them). However; there's a very strong anti Somali sentiment among many of my family members against Somalis and anything regarding the Somali race. They see Saudi Somalis as a different entity and the believe they are superior to Somalis. One of them almost burst into tears when I showed him a comment on Somalispot asking if there are any "Somali millionaires" because a crazy amount of Saudi Somali households are in fact millionaires so imagine shattering that image just like that. Last but not least we don't speak Somali very often in our household we just say words like awoowe ayeeyo Ader but some of my uncles speak Somali at home. However, We had very little contact with our Arab ayeeyo as she was living in Jeddah and I was raised by my step ayeeyo (Somali Dulbahante Jamac Siad). She was considered our ayeeyo and we called her ayeeyo and She was even behind my parents marriage and her approval was requested.

@Cali1996 ur ey-18637 get ur puntlandlander citzen my friend😅 Disneylanders are poor and Broke they do tahrib to garowe
When I told some Majeerteens that Ogayslabe is related to them. They went bananas and rejected us and told me never to say I am Daarood again. (My paternal awoowe, after the civil war he visited Hargeisa only because it was safer, maternal step ayeeyo and my only living Somali ayeeyo are all Puntlanders though)

Wow how insightful i guess it's possible by one or two more generation non of them will
see them selfs as somalis and perhaps become fully integrated like the zayali'a, jabarta and maqadisha of yemen. By the way i've seen a genealogical tree where these tribes exept the maqadisha share a lineage or an ancester with the somali daroods 'Ali zain al abidin or zain al din from Al Madinah Al Munawwarah' so you might not only be related to them but also following in the very same footsteps.
