Always listen to Hooyo! High-Profile Divorce Case.

Three lessons here:

1. Women should keep their money for themselves as Islam dictates that a woman's money is hers and hers alone. This safeguards the woman in the event of divorce so that she does not end up destitute. Women should also do their best to educate themselves and stay employable or learn how to invest/save.

1. Avoid large age-gap relationships, it is never equal or fair mentally as one person is superior mentally and emotionally.

3. Always listen to your parents and heed their wise counsel

  • Achraf Hakimi is 24 and his wife is 36 years old.
  • They met when he was 19 and she was 31 years old.
  • They are getting divorced and she is demanding HALF.
  • However, he gave most of his money to his mother to keep safe.

She should be entitled to child support and spousal support or a fair lump sum. Not half.

She deserves more than half, at least 65% imo. How else is she going to survive?

Is that the guy who claims to have been falsely accused of sexual assault?

Marriage has become irrelevant and useless. Most people are not marriage material.

The western media were mocking his relationship with his mother after the World Cup. Unbelievable

Oh wow, is that why she's demanding half.

Asking for half always seems spiteful, unless the other person helped make that wealth.

She was only married to him for a few years. But I won't blindly believe the allegation since we have seen countless people being falsely accused, including his fellow colleagues in the sport and that co-creator of Rick and Morty just weeks ago whose life was destroyed over a lie. Better to let the legal system determine that.

Goes to show the ones who put their parents first are looked after by Allah. Whilst the ones who put their parents in care homes end up depressed and losers. The world rejects them the same way the rejected their parents.

I want to know what Islam dictates, because that's what's 100% fair.
Islam says it preferable to partway with a gift (there is no upper limit) if the divorce was from the husband but if she requested it and he allows it then he can ask for his mahr back.

If it was an amicable split most won't hold back from giving something and men don't really take the mahr back for the most part.

She was 31 and he was only 19 when they married. I’m sure that keeping his assets and money was his hooyo’s idea. She must have saw an opportunistic woman who wanted to eventually cash out on a young guy’s increasing success and said

Good on him for taking her advice! What reason does his exwife have to take half? She didn’t help make that money. All she’s entitled to is child support and the mehr. (I assume they’re Muslim)

Isn't only is she asks for divorce for no reason? if there is a legitimate reason for her to ask for divorce then he isn't entitled to ask for his meher back
