I've seen people use it as a slur against Arabs. I know what Dhegacas means since Af-Soomaali is my first language. But why call them light skin? Arabs are not the whitest people out there. Are they?

Agreed but weirdly enough that's what we call arabs in my family. It doesn't even sound like slur if i'm gonna be honest. Indians say that humans were backed and that white people were uncooked, black people were burned and indians brown people were just right, Somali might i've seen their copper complexion as ideal while anything else weren't.

U can type "dhegacas" in the search bar to see it for yourself. It's always associated with Arab bashing. Indhoyar is different.
