Age between marriage?

I saw what @durwa posted, how his wife is 17 and he’s 28 (11 year difference).

Some people were saying it’s caathi since she’s mature, some people called him a Pedo (which is overboard).

What’s an acceptable age gap? Since he’s 28, what should his range be? And what premise do we make these ranges on?

I personally think as long as both sides are on a similar maturity level, are happy with their marriage and the marriage doesn’t effect anyone else, then it’s all good.

I mean who cares, age is just numbers.
If two people are in genuine interest for eachother.
However - life has no rules,
there's always going to be "weird things" that may be no good for you but just the way it is for someone else.

I'm not for people being age gaps but I'm not against romantic love if it's ever very real.
However let's not excuse this to being carried away into haram behaviors that get fetished into creepy now! Because that's also just as bad.

they could probably find more common ground because they’re both adults and from the same generation.

I guess you can’t really “measure” maturity. However, let us be real here for a second. Girls/boys back home are way more mature then those in the west, mainly because of the conditions they grew up in. Her age may be 17, but she might be a lot older mentally

You can't actually "measure" - just observe!
Only attitude and behaviors show a person's level headedness.
Rational decisions - Adult thinking skills.

I think mature minds just live by being on better behavior than those who aren't there mentally.

a lot happens between the ages of 17-25,im only 20 and each year from say age 16 has had a profound impact on me maturity wise .
