I kid you not

I had a Nigerian friend back in university days, and we once mentioned our respective countries. The nigga thought I was from Turkey!

I am not even light skinned (tend more towards dark skin). Where did he get Turkey from?

Also remember being in a queue in Saudi Arabia, with one side being 100% Somalis and the other 100% Nigerian.

Anyway we started talking, and one Somali guy asked where in Africa they were from. They said Nigeria of course, and many nodded while smiling that hey had guessed correctly.

When it was the Somali sides turn to ask the same question, the Nigerians answered with places like Egypt, Libya, Tunisia etc. One guy got close and guessed Ethiopia.

But I know what you mean from those experiences.
