@Hotchick12 The Prophet described Musa ibn Imran in various authentic narrations. Now, considering these descriptions, can any modern Jew or Palestinian accurately match even one of these characteristics, including details like hair type? I will send you my savings if You do find them.

rejecting authentic hadiths and disbelieving in the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad, especially those established as sahih (authentic), can be considered a form of kufr (disbelief).

Imam Ahmed ibn Hanbal related in his musnad (3365) the following description that the Messenger ﷺ gave of Musa’s colour:

وَرَأَيْتُ مُوسَى أَسْحَمَ آدَمَ

“Musa was jet-black skinned.”

Muslim relates in his Sahih (239 and 243) that Ibn Abbas said that the Messenger ﷺ described Musa’s appearance as follows:

َأَمَّا مُوسَى فَرَجُلٌ آدَمُ جَعْدٌ

As for Musa, he was black-skinned and kinky-haired. (hadith 243)

He (Ibn Abbas) said that the prophet (ﷺ) mentioned the time he was ascended to the Heavens and he said that Musa (Moses) was black-skinned and tall as if he was from the tribe of Shanua. (hadith 239)

If anyone has the anthropological history of the Shauna tribe, they are a historic Yemeni tribe of the original stock Arabs, and they are undoubtedly black Arabs.

Regarding the ayah of Allah who said in suratul-‘Araf:

وَنَزَعَ يَدَهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ بَيْضَاء لِلنَّاظِرِينَ

And he drew forth his hand (from his bosom): and lo! it was white for the beholders. [al-‘Araf- verse 108]

al-Qurtubi says in his tafsir of the verse:

وكان موسى أسمر شديد السمرة

Musa (Moses) was black-skinned.

at-Tabari says about this ayah

According to what we were told, Musa (Moses) was black-skinned and Allah made Musa’s hand turning white, without being affected by leprosy, a sign for him.

al-Baydawi says in his tafsir of the verse:

روي : أنه عليه السلام كان آدم شديد الأدمة ، فأدخل يده في جيبه أو تحت إبطه ثم نزعها فإذا هي بيضاء نورانية غلب شعاعها شعاع الشمس

It is related that Musa (alayhi salam) was jet-black-skinned. He put his hand in his pocket or under his armpit and took it out and it was white.

al-Baghawi says in his tafsir of the verse:

وكان موسى آدم ، ثم أدخلها جيبه فصارت كما كانت

Musa was black-skinned. Then (after withdrawing his hand from his pocket white) he put his hand back in his pocket and it turned back to the color that it was.

Tafseer Al Baydhaawy Chapter 3 page 29

Verily (Musa) alayhi Asalaam was Adaam shadeed Al Udmah jet black.

@Haragwaafi, do you deny these Sahih Hadiths? A straightforward yes or no will suffice. Additionally, I can provide you with classical Arabic definitions of the complexion name used to describe Musa, specifically "Shadidul udma." I will send what scholars and Arabs meant by the term, clarifying that it refers to an intense brown or jet black complexion.

Tafseer Al Baydhaawy Chapter 3 page 29

Verily (Musa) alayhi Asalaam was Adaam shadeed Al Udmah jet black.

If you deny this, you are essentially rejecting the words of the Prophet and branding him as a liar, which would categorize you as a hadith rejector and, plainly, a Kafir.

Example of shadeed Al Udmah complexion: Afar Boy

Hey, keep it simple – yes or no. Don't try to sound clever. Do you reject the fact that Musa is described as having kinky hair and black skin in every authentic narration, acknowledged by all sheikhs and scholars? He's even cited as an example of a black prophet. Instead of beating around the bush with Arabized Persian, let's turn to the scholars and the books of narrations to understand what the original Arabs meant by that term.

1.The great scholar Al Thaa’labi said in his book Fiqqatu Luggha wa Al Arabiyyah,Page 348.

”The colour Adam is black(ness) in humans and white(ness)in camels.”

Note: The word Aswad or اسود for specific descriptions means jet black.

As you can see, the colour adam (آدم ) by itself is very dark and not a light colour which most English speaking translators try to claim without any evidence.

2. Another great scholar called Ibn Sayaadah said, when explaining the meaning of the word Asham(اسحم ) in his book Al Hakm Al Muheet Al A’dam , Chapter 3, page 215

‘Al asham wa alsuhaam wa alsahmah mean black(ness) and every black is Asham…. And the two suhaams are shaded Al Udmah. Does this scholar not say that it means jet black?

3. In Ibn Sayaadah’s book Al Mukhasas volume 1 page 202 he said السواد شدة الأدمة which translates to ”black is an intense Udmah”in other words (jet )black and shaded al Udmah mean the same thing.

“And black is an intense udmah, a (jet) black man , black , blacks …”

4.Imaam Al Alaamah Al Dhahabi says in his book Seera A’laam Al Nubalaa SE page 313

‘They say aswad (jet black) and this means whoever is covered in blackness. They say jet black or shaded Al Udmah.”

5.In Kitaab Al Alfaadh (كتاب الألفاظ), by Ibn Sakeet (ابن السكيت يعقوب بن إسحاق ) in the Chapter of colours, page 153 he said

‘ … from the the ( jet) black men , and he is Shaded al Udmah” in other words and from the people who are black in complexion they are also called shaded Al Udmah.

6. Another clear explanation of this can be found in the book called Fiqqatu Al Lughah(فقة اللغة). Chapter 13 , page 126. In this chapter, the scholar explains the levels of blackness in humans.

‘….. and if it(the colour) is darker than (the colour) adam then it is (called) Asham( refer to point 2).

7. The student of Sibaweey was nicknamed Natftweey because his udmah complexion resembled crude oil, which is a jet black colour.

8. Ibn Sayadah said when giving a description, he used an example , in his book Kitaab Al Mukhassas Chapter 1 page 202

and the black (aswad) is shaded alUdmah a black man”

9. Imam Al Tabari gives a description of Mohammed Al Nafs Al Zaky in his book Tarikh Al Tabary, page 562.

He said, ‘Mohammed was Adam Shaded al Udamah , Adlam and he was nicknamed father of Black coal because of his udmah. Abu Mansoor called him charcoal.”

Without even having to explain what Adlam means it is quite clear as to what shaded Al Udmah meant to Al Tabary.

10.In Ibn Katheer’s Tafseer of the the Quran chapter 2 he narrates,

Mu’awiya said, Call Abdullah bin Mas’adah al Fazari and he was Adam Shadeed Al Udmah Muaywah then he said (to Masa’dah) whiten your progeny with this Roman slave woman.”

j

Ibn Katheer narrates about the same sahaaby in another chapter but in a slightly different way . This time he says Aswad Shadeed Al Udmah instead of Adam Shadeed Al Udmah as he did before but in a different context.

Ibn Katheer narrates in his book Tafseer Al Quran Chapter 10:

Abdullah ibn Mas’adah Al Faraazy was Aswad Shadeed Al Udmah

Ibn Katheer mentions him again in another book of his and describes the same sahaabah using only the word Aswad

Ibn Katheer says in his book Al Bidaayah wa Al Nihaayah Chapter 8 page 149

And Mu’awiya said, Call Abdullah bin Mas’adah al Fazari the servant of Fatimah the daughter of the Messenger of Allah, for me and he was Aswad. Then he said (to Masa’dah) whiten your progeny with her”

11. As already mentioned sometimes the colour Adam alone without mentioning it’s intensity can be intended to mean Aswad or jet black. Both Ibn Hajjar and Asmaaey have testified to this when giving an explanation of one of the ahadith that described the Prophet Mohammed

In Fathul Baari bi sharh al Bukhari (فتح الباري شرح صحيح البخاري)chapter 6 ,page 658 Ibn Hajjar said,

In regards to the part of the hadith ‘ he was not white and not adam’ …. What it is intended here is to mean is he was not intensely white nor was he intensely adam ( aswad / jet black)

12. In Ghareeb Al hadeeth Al Harby Chapter 2, page 1141.

The saying he is not adam…… on the authority of Asmaeey … Adam is jet black

Here is another example of why it is not always necessary to add the intensifier shadeed to describe someone with a jet black complexion.

The Description Of Moses alayhis salaam

13. Sahih al-Bukhari 3438 Book 60, Hadith 109

And as for Musa he was Adam in complexion and had lank hair as of he was from the men of Zut.”

Ibn Taymiyyah makes mention of an authentic narration that mentions people of Zut being jet black in colour

Jamea Al Masaail chapter 5 page 78

” …..jet black skinned men as if they were from the men of Al Zut……

In Musnad Ahmed Ibn Hanbal , Chapter 50 page 488

The Messenger of Allah may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him said, And the description of Moses may peace be upon him : ” And I saw Moses intensely black skinned”

The words used here are Asham Adam which in another example which shows us how Adam and intense blackness are related.

In conclusion, Adam Shadeed Al Udmah means aswad (jet black). The meaning is clear to the Islamic scholars of language and fiq, and therefore should be clear to us all.

Here is a sample for you :

Abu Ubaid Al Qaasim Ibn Salaam says in his book Ghareeb Al Hadeeth, Chapter 4 page 388

And his saying Al Hamraa( The reds which means the whites) – It means the non Arabs and the clients (the red slaves and the red people that embraced Islam ) they were named that because the most predominant colours of the Arabs are Al Sumurah and Al Udmah and the most predominant colours of the non Arab is white and red and this is like the saying of the people : If you wanted to mention mankind then you’d say the reds and the blacks. So the reds are all of those that are overwhelmed with whiteness and the blacks are those who are overwhelmed with Al Udmah .

I haven't delved deeply into extensive research on African Americans (AAs) as they are a mix of Hamites and Semites, and over the years, there has been significant intermixing, including with Caucasians. It's challenging to assert that they are pure Semites like Horn Africans. However, I am aware that some tribes in West Africa are believed to be part of the ten lost tribes of Bani Israel. According to Islamic narrative, Allah cursed and destroyed these tribes after their dispersal, following the completion of their covenant and the arrival of the last prophet, whom the majority rejected. Consequently, all the curses and promises Allah made to them were sent down upon them.

In the narrative, Allah promised Bani Israel that for their breach of the covenant, He would subject them to a period of slavery similar to their time in Egypt which lasted 400 Years. Upon calculating, it appears that the duration of slavery, lasting 400 years, coincides precisely with their enslavement in ancient Egypt.

Additionally, there is an evil practice mentioned by the companions that contributed to their destruction, involving the use of fake hair. It's interesting to note that African Americans continue this practice today, possibly being among its originators.

Sahih al-Bukhari 5932

Narrated by Humaid bin `Abdur-Rahman bin `Auf who said In the year he performed Hajj he heard Mu’awiyya bin Abi Sufyaan, in the year of Hajj while he was on the pulpit and he was saying while he was taking a piece of hair that was in the hand of a guard, “Where are your religious learned men? I heard Allah’s Messenger may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, forbidding this (ARTIFICIAL hair) and saying, ‘ For Verily The Children of Israel were destroyed when their women started using this.”

Semitic/Hebrew kingdoms, such as the Songhai, existed in West Africa. These tribes were among the captives brought to the New World as a form of punishment from Allah. The letter to the Jews in Muslim Spain provides clear evidence of this historical connection.

Israelites in Africa – Songhai Kingdom

A legend of Jews who came from Yemen, settled near the Niger River and established the Songhai kingdom, which was initially a Hebrew kingdom is mentioned in Tareekh As Sudaan.

In Tareekh As Sudaan page 4

It is said that he and his brother left out of Yemen wayfaring in the land of Allah the most high until to the land of Kawkaa with which they were destined and it is very old in the coast of the sea in the land of Saghaa”
