I'm afraid it's just a fact. What's there to be mad about? We also have clear archaeological evidence that the earliest Cushites who entered the Horn around 3000 BCE also kept dogs as they make this quite apparent with their cave paintings and most likely their burial sites too if one looks closely.

I prefer people for such endeavours but I appreciate that they help some poor folks with social anxiety issues like that. Yet even without that, as a man of an agricultural slant they are very useful animals in that regard too. They'll protect your herds and flocks like a well oiled machine and can even herd them! Not to mention just guard dogs in general. A most loyal and useful animal. Gaalo have just lost the script with all these disabled, inbred breeds and breeding animals as vicious as pitbulls. Nothing wrong with a good Saluki, Pariah or Collie.
This is what rural peple like our ancestors mostly used them for; helping herd and for guardianship. You can see it described in one of the quotes I shared above, in fact.

The guy in this video hit a pitbull with a bat 15 to 20 time and it would not let go!
However, it seem like a plank of wood to the head and neck area can immobilize a pitbull with ease .

To be honest, I find the modern pet trend a little concerning. It often feels like people use cats and dogs as cheap surrogates for having offspring and project a lot of emotional issues they should be getting therapy for onto these animals. Personally, I find them to be at their best in a rural setting as an extension of the family and where they are properly emotionally and mentally stimulated by being work animals such as barn cats or shepherd dogs.

A therapy dog is a dog that is trained to provide affection, comfort and support to people, often in settings such as hospitals, retirement homes, nursing homes, schools, libraries, hospices, or disaster areas.
Not all dogs are qualified to be a dog therapy but there is many of them out there.
Dogs aren't as dumb as you think. they are smart and loyal
