Africa will probably be the poorest continent forever because of this;

My only issue on him is that he talks from a position of authority on things he has no qualifications for. He can talk about clinical psychology all he wants because that’s his expertise but when he talks about world history, philosophy and economics that’s when I shut it down. I only support him when he talks about anti lgbtq shit

He gets propped up as allegedly being this brilliant intellectual and this "patriarchal masculinity" figure and... he is neither of them. He's not an icon of masculinity and he's not an intellectual.
As far as psychology, he's into Carl Jung. Carl Jung was basically a white Hindu, he was a New Age type who was into weird mystic stuff. I have zero interest in Carl Jung's hippie/sufi stuff but Jung was way more intellectual than Peterson.
He debated Zizek on Communism and it turned out Peterson showed up to the debate without even having read The Communist Manifesto. The Communist Manifesto is basically a pamphlet. Yet he's given talks on the subject of Communism and showing up to debate Zizek on Communism. So much for him being this brilliant intellectual.
His supposed hardcore traditional masculinity thing was.... he didn't want to do gender pronouns. And the man sounds like Kermit the Frog.
I will never understand why anyone took him as this brilliant intellectual or "defender of traditional masculinity" or whatever.
