Most are able to speak Af-Maxaa.

But they often use Maay grammar or slang every now and then when they speak Maxaa which reveals they are a Maay speaker.

Afmaay and Afmaxaa tiri are not even the same language, I remember a sspot member claiming he can understand afmaay better than the reer waqooyi accent.
