After Syria's economy collapsed, the entire government now relies on selling drugs to neighbouring Arab countries. The drugs are addictive pills called captagon, and it's ruining the lives of many young generations in the Arab world. According to a new study, nearly 40% of Saudis aged 12 to 22 are addicted to this drug. It's also now being sold in Yemen, which is right on our doorstep. I'm concerned for Somalia, which has previously seen issues with Khat. This drug is even more harmful because it causes brain damage.
