After Syria's economy collapsed, the entire government now relies on selling drugs to neighbouring Arab countries. The drugs are addictive pills called captagon, and it's ruining the lives of many young generations in the Arab world. According to a new study, nearly 40% of Saudis aged 12 to 22 are addicted to this drug. It's also now being sold in Yemen, which is right on our doorstep. I'm concerned for Somalia, which has previously seen issues with Khat. This drug is even more harmful because it causes brain damage.

Hamas was taking that on october 7th, so too did ISIS. there are much worse drugs in somalia, but please keep this shit away from shabab

Too late as the opioid epidemic has reached us. I remember a Bajaaj driver telling me most of the drivers were high on pills.

Tbh using drugs to destabilize a country isn’t new, that’s basically what the British did to China during the opium wars

Hashish and these pills also reached Somalia. It has become a common thing to see those affected by these things in the streets screaming and running.
You are talking about Yemen. All of this is in Ethiopia, and everything comes from there, even khat and alcohol. Ethiopia can easily destroy our young generation, and there are no border guards.

New?!?

Bro, this is a tried and tested theory, this isn't new. How the US smuggled crack into black communities or Opium Wars, it's a common tactic.

Now that liberalism has failed we should return to the sunnah

public lashings for alcohol and drug users to serve as a multi deterrent one as a public humiliation tactic and two as a tangible physical penalty

this works

also prision wastes too much time, that persons family probably are dependent on him financially and could use him and it’s a waste of public finances

Those numbers seem a bit too high, I haven't heard much of it.

Not surprised they turned to drugs, the country has gone to complete & utter garbage. those Syrians, especially the young, have no future. Drugs can help them escape from that reality.

Why hasn't KSA cracked down on this?

Every country should follow Singapore when it comes to drugs. Drugs ruin families. I don't and will never believe in legalizing them, they tried & failed in Canada already. The argument in favour of legalization is dumb anyway, its like saying ''Why criminalize murder? Murder will always exist, so let's decriminalize murder.''

The US didn’t stop the afghan drug trade because lots of it gets sent to Russia. They want to destroy Russia by drugging its people.
