That difference is seen by people who are pro the death penalty, but to me, there is no difference. If the death penalty was supposed to be a deterrent, then it is not working because America has more homicides than the rest of the Western Nations combined who don't implement the death penalty. Australia has less homicide rates than Saudi Arabia which has the death penalty.
Should we DNA test and check foetuses if they carry a "violent gene" and then abort them right there without murdering it when it becomes an adult?
Horrible comparison. Not every state in America enforces the death penalty. Saudi Arabia does though, look at their homicide rates. Deterrent or justice, either way, it's different to abortion. If my mother was murdered by a man, I believe that it will be justice to kill him. Many don't care as to whether it's a deterrent or not, just that what they're doing is reciprocated. It's extremely unfair to the victim that his murderer get's to remain alive while he was killed in cold blood.
Australia's homicide rate is higher than Saudi Arabia's by the way.
Again, you are providing an argument of no substance. There's no way of telling if a baby would commit a murder before he's born.

Most abortions are unplanned pregnancies and is carried out by the decisions of women who can't afford raising a child on their own. In the Somali case, it is far worse because no woman wants it because of the stigmatisation of having a child out of wedlock-"wecel-bastard".

There's a difference, stop feigning ignorance. Pro life as in the sense that abortion takes away innocent life. Killing someone who isn't innocent is justice.

The difference is the foetus has not developed yet into a human being and while you are defending this foetus, you are justifying the murder of an adult life. Let's agree to disagree.
You're comparing violent crime, I'm comparing murder rates. Australia's is higher and that's definitely worse.
One is defenceless and hasn't been able to experience life. The other ended one. Put religion aside and peer into this. You don't see a problem with a developing fetus having it terminated? That seems insane.
