I think Scandi Somalis has had way more representation both good and bad, we also dont really have postcodes based on ethnicty, all qaxootis are raised in same estate so there’s no reason to put ajnabis on a pedastal since we know eachother real good. Another thing is were early immigrants so we never went through the struggles other diaspora might have.

Regarding marriages i doubt they any different to any other Somali diaspora, all over the western world divorce rate is at 50% even Saudi has extremly high divorce rate at 37%. Somalis just like to highlight their own problems without bringing a solution, were not that different to others in the divorce statistic (have we even had one conducted)? anywhere in the world?

Ive done similar stuff before, I even know a girl was gangr4ped with a bunch of guys with machetes,in the streets, you keep to yourself because you could end up getting stabbed, most I will do is call police and shout at him if he has weapons.
if the guy looks innocent or I think I could take him or help I will help out.

but as I said most times man are packing knives on them. a couple years ago a guy stabbed a 16 year old girl for rejecting him. Streets aren't safe out here man. If I step in I'll end up getting both of us killed

How do you know they haven’t seen a lot of issues in their own parents marriages, aunts and the like? My parents are still married Alhamdulliah, but I’ve seen some screwed up stuff with family members, cousins and the like and going back home also left a bad taste in my mouth with regards to the lack of accountability of Somali men, obviously not all. In the real world, I have enough emotional intelligence to not let that get in the way of my relationship and tried to the best of my abilities in the talking stages to not judge a man based on other people’s experiences.

Let’s be real, this attack doesn’t happen in real life, only online. In the real world, many of you lot won’t even be attacked if you decided to leave your children and the list goes on. Your dealing with the frustrated rants of young women online, that is it.

It’s not the experiences of a mere few. At this point it’s become part of our culture. In nearly every wider family, there is at least one father that has decided to not bother with the kids, or father that spends most of his time at cafes and hardly provides or one that has went back to Africa at 50 to marry a 16 yr old whilst the wife works in care. There is at least one. Most will have at least one uncle or a bunch of uncles like this is if they’re lucky enough to not have a father like that.

With that, you’re right, we’ll have to wait and see. I can’t say at all that younger Faraxs do this or that. But what’s also an issue is that Faraxs between the ages of 27-35 aren’t doing as well as their female counterparts. The issue is that admitting this, is an ego killer for a lot of men. So now we have young women on attack mode and young men whose strategy is to deny reality.

That's the thing I said its an online movement because we don't even talk like that to each other irl I only see the sentiment irl when I talk to somali girls and they always say its there friends that are like that or there sisters but the backhanded compliments tells me otherwise.

Somali women and men don't even talk to each other like that hence why it mainly happens online and not irl.
