For once I agree as much as I despise Amharas they arent very irrelevant in Somali demographic shifting they arent taking over Jigjiga and make up 0.1% of the population. Them having a celebration isnt a big issue.You’ll sound like fox news on Eid prayer, when all the Muslims come together for an hour and they take pictures, seeing that many muslims at once puts fear in their hearts. When in reality, there’s no takeover and after the prayer people go back to their busy lives
Whats more concerning is other frontier cities that arent insulated by other Somalis who are currently subject to raids by Oromos and Canfar. Oromos are priority number 1 they have taken our place in 3-4 urban centers in the last century and routinely try overtaking more.
Ethiopia is a secular state and public places are open for anybody. Muslims and Christians both celebrate their holidays in public places including in Addis Ababa, Gondar, Bahrdar, Jigjiga, Harar etc. Today is Timket, Christian holiday and is celebrated all over Ethiopia not only in Jigjiga. Django is lying. The same goes for Eid. You can't ban residents from exercising their religion publicly.

Remember that all public sectors in the somali region like airport, the banks and communications only employ Amhara. Comparing this s Eid prayer in Britain is wrong, it's more like if Italians/Britians did a carnival or chrismas parade waving there flags in Hergeisa/Mogadishu in the 1930s.

Addis Abeba has Oromo majority and majority of Oromos are muslim. If Ethiopia is such a tolerant place why are mosques in Axum burned? Why arent muslims in the city allowed to practice they religion freely?

Oromo is 19% in Addis Ababa and majority oromos in Addis Ababa are from Shewa who are majority Orthodox christian. 78% of the population in Addis Ababa is christian according to the last census.
Mosques are allowed everywhere except the town of Axum because of TPLF. Now TPLF is gone, I am very sure mosques will be built. But that we are talking about only one town Axum and no other town in Ethiopia confirms exactly that everywhere it is allowed to build a mosque and in fact everywhere there are mosques. I honestly don't know a city that is without a mosque.

show us a video in Addis ababa or Bahir dar where everything is closed for a somali parade where people wave the national flag of somalia and chanting nationalistic slogans like your people waving the old imperial flag and chanting nationalist slogans in Jigjiga right now.

It wasnt the derg that made Religons equal but the TPLF.The derg was predominantly towhedo orthodox christians dominated.
The only reason muslims are even getting a breathing space under Abye is because he is Pente and They are the most hated sect by the orthodox.
