Reer Xamaris who have origins in Persia, India and Yemen. In the South we even have Somalis who are of Arab origins like Yemeni and Omani but they’re aren’t Reer Xamar cad cad as their family have been in Somali for like one or two centuries and still have family in Oman or Yemen ect. Xamar is an interesting place, but I find it interesting those that have the most against Bantus and cadcads tend to be from regions that are hundreds of miles away.

However, your argumentation doesn't apply in all countries. Europe, alike Somalia have minorities in their societies. For instance, the Sami people live in Northern Europe and over time have assimilated with the majority ethnic groups, with the exception of few. Again, the same applies to Somalia where many Jweyne have intermarried with Somalis, culturally Somali and in many cases only speak Somali today. So when these Sami or ethnic minorities move abroad, they usually claim their nationality alone.

Xamar and people treat them like any other regular Somali and befriend them, neighbor them ect but only marriage is a big no no and unfortunately you do get some from the older gen who do make nasty and ignorant comments but apart from that i do think modern Somalis are more tolerant. I have been hearing about some men marrying their women here and there but that is a very small minority and I can’t imagine their families being enthusiastic about it.

To be fair, Jweyne are treated much better than some ethnic Somalis, such as the Gabooyes (Madhibaan, Tumaal, Yibir etc). Many mainstream clans have also incorporated them in to their clans, and thus don't get stigmatized as much as standalone Jweyne clans.

CadCads are somalized, I know intermarriage happens between the northern reer shabelle clans because they’re somalized too. It’s a clan by clan thing honestly.
