I been to muscat couple times. Really good people wallahi. Also oman is neutral in alot of beefs in the middle east thus why they stay quiet. There people are just really laid back and very different from the rest of khaleej arabs.
Apparently hes a closeted homosexual. I heard that also when i was in oman from my cousins but people really love him so they dont really question him.
Also out of all khaleej countries i would say oman is the easiest one to obtain passport from.

The people of Oman are Ibadi Muslims, which is probably why they are don't get into the Sunni-Shia mess in the Middle East. Throughout their history, they have always minded their own business, caring more about trade and mercantilism than anything else.
