I personally wouldn't support either side, and with that being said, the Kenyan guy is definitely blowing the whole situation out of proportion. People can support whoever they want to support. However, the Somalis in the comments are making it seem like we have an obligation to support Morocco, because they're "brotherly nation" (whatever that means) or "they’re in the Arab League" (as if that somehow makes Somalis obligated to support them) essentially these are really dumb reasons. I mean, In that case, why won't they support Congo when Somalia is in the EAC with them?
The fact is, no one should feel pressured to support a country based on political, or supposed cultural ties. It’s sports, it's about having fun, and keeping politics as far away from it as possible. The funny thing is, I saw so many Moroccans supporting Ethiopia over Somalia on the internet, and you know why? Because they like Ethiopia more, it's simple as that. They don't care that we're "brotherly nations" or that we're in the Arab League, because they know what they like and what they want, it's that simple.
