300 Arabic Loan Verbs in Af-Somali


I think it’s a mixture of Verbs from all the dialects. I notice many are Waqooyi, Koonfurians do you recognise some of the Verbs?
 
most of these words are new to me (Nugaal). some I know which is common in most somali dialects. I've never heard of somalis using words like "Samir" which means "to be patient with" or "Oofi" which means "to keep a promise".

The modern Somalil dialect borrows hella loan words from arabs, italians, egyptians and others. I think the original Somali was Af Maay Maay

No mate, maay and maxaatiri originated from the same source and each changed in it's own way.

As a native speaker of Arabic i naturally recognize these words being from Arabic.

facts. what is all these words. 95% of them have somali counterparts. these people are using it just for the sake of claiming arabs

Languages borrow from eachother ,there is no pure language, even Arabic got a lot of Persian, Greek and Hindi loan words , I mean look at the language you're suing now, English is Germanic but it's full of French, Latin and greek loan words and even some Arabic .
