24 men involved in the r*pe of two young sisters in Lascanood, Sool, Somalia.

Fahima and Farah were originally from Ceerigabo but moved with their family to Lascanood to escape the clashes and to continue their education. They were allegedly r*ped by 24 men, who either took part in the assault or facilitated it. After both sisters were r*ped, they were also stabbed. One is currently in a coma and the other is in shock. Please include both Fahima and Farah in your duas, as they are in a very difficult situation right now.

The men have been arrested by SSC police, apart from one who is still being searched for. The pictures below show that the majority of these boys appear to be under the age of 18.

The question is whether these two will receive justice, which means all 24 r*pists and facilitators must face the death penalty. Or will this turn out to be another pointless igu sawir, as it usually is in Somalia. I will post all updates in this thread.

Frankly, I have had enough of Somali politicians, clan elders, and the police burying cases like this and the victims not receiving justice. Somali men in positions of power will lobby for their own interests. They will create states that go against the constitution, like Galmudug and the current SSC, which do not fulfil the requirement of two gobols. They will create jabhads, and they will also form clan militias when they feel threatened or to land grab. It is time for Somali women back home to lobby for their own interests on a large scale, because receiving minimal justice is unacceptable, and I truly do not see Somali men in positions of power carrying this out for us.

I'm in laascanod rn and shi is going crazy over here walahi, meel walba xabad ba ka dhacaysa I might die Iso duceeya walaalayal✌️🥀

I hope they get the death penalty. But im not fully convinced it will happen. Its a good sign they arrested all of them but 24 people is a lot. I dont know if the local govt can handle the pushback from all the qabils of these guys

They all deserve the death penalty both as justice for the girls that were hurt and as a warning to any man who even dares to consider committing rape. If those men are not held fully accountable, we will only see more and more of these crimes. I’m already seeing people blame the girls 😕 I’ll lose all hope for Somalia if they receive anything less than the death penalty.

Subhanallah, may Allah ease the pain and suffering of the young girls who went through this, those 24 losers need to be executed and shouldn’t see the light of the day.

It’s difficult to address sexual violence in a society where almost no crime is prosecuted, it’s apart of the broader landscape of unpunished violence.

Alot of people are saying ’wala dila’ but im very sceptical.. Even if the SSC admin wanted to carry out justice it’s almost impossible since it can trigger clan retaliation.

As for politicians in Somalia.. the only time you see swift political action is when their own interests are on the line, that’s when the machinery of power wakes up.

under 18 but they're gonna get swish cheesed like they're grown men f*ck em dysgenic sacks of shit we should be thankful they've been barred from the gene pool wish i could pop that 4th one myself

I dont know why these evil bastards always do this in groups. One man is bad enough but its like they want her to pass away. I hope they get their justice ❤️

I think it’s a way to ensure that they dont get e*ecuted, the more they are the more difficult it is for the state to deal with them..
