2 weddings for intermarriage???

Would you guys do 2 weddings if you were to marry a person from another culture?? My Syrian wife and I, are currently discussing plans on whether to coalesce both of our cultures into one wedding or separate them by having 2 separate weddings. I am leaning towards the second rn as i really want both sides of our familiyes/relatives to get a real feel for each of our cultures and really forge those ties. Plus, Somali weddings are usually very boring/dull from what i have seen and would like to immerse myself in a more lit Syrian wedding.

Imagine taking loans to finance an extravagant wedding, just for the clout. Just to impress people you can't stand and most likely won't meet ever again.

If it were mix, how do you balance it out tho?? Ill probbaly just let it be more streamlined towards her culture as its more fun, better food, dances & somali weddings are usually just dysfunctional

If you have the money. It will strengthen the relationship because only choosing a Somali wedding will make you sound stingy and don't want to see her culture also being selfish.
