Hormuud which owns Golis and Telesom. As well as the biggest electricity company beco that operates all the way south in Kismayo. You should check below your covers before you pretend Hormuud is just a Xamar monopoly
Golis largest share holder is own by puntlandlanders 95 percent nur jimcale only owns 5 percent 🤡🤡 duli allah ku bad always making up things out of his fuuto

Madoobe forced the sale of local companies to Beco. Idk why but tbh he might have a local stake in Beco JL operations.
Beco hasn’t started operations in kismaayo yet I know they are eying everywhere in the south like vultures.
who owns beeco main competitor in muqdisho muqdisho power they seem to be the only currently keeping their ground against hormuud’s monopoly.

Next time don’t embarrass yourself

Golis = Hormuud is common knowledge. Whenever their services go down they go down together lol

What’s funny is y’all are so clueless and ur all probably a decade older. I still got some brushing up to do with this whole Somalia business
You didn’t have to ruffle their feathers like that niyow :pachah1:

I promise you none of them knew Golis is a Hormuud rebrand.

They’ve been operating for years. I think they rebranded tho but Madoobe helped them take over Kismayo. This was a few years ago after their dispute with Madoobe over his cut :mjlol:

Beco was started by a Fiqishini guy I believe, he died a few years ago AUN and I believe Hormuud bought a controlling stake. This is how they dominate Somalia and you guys don’t even realise.

That little girl is confused as of late as last year the same 2-3 local companies are still running electricity. The biggest one is jeesco the rest are small little ones kismaayo that cater to xaafadaha danyarta kismaayo isn’t as big xamar.

Over the past few years there has been many terrorist attacks in Bosaso where it's from Al-Shabab , ISIS or even more recently Puntland military themselves causing civilian casualties.

Infact wouldn't one say after Mogadishu Bosaso is targeted most frequently?

Doesn't help when illegal arms flows through its port and there are internal clan grievances that motivate these attacks.

I 100% remember many Puntlanders blame southern IDP camps for terrorist attacks in their region on this forum.I guess the theme this year is to blame Somalland.

When our youth , elderly, men and women are killed and bombed for going shopping I'd damn right blame anything that causes instability to my people

Allegedly Hormuud is also a big threat economically to all competitors. Between the gangs that rape men and film the assaults, needing a HAG babysitter etc, etc. I don't know how anyone that isn't HAG can step foot in that place.
Hormuud threatened a friend of mine who owns Lelas Turkish perfume brand in Mogadishu mall, he was told to give up his brand for $200k or they’ll finish his business..he had no choice but to sale a majority stake

2 pages of denial, I had it all along but just kept it for the end lol :mjlaugh:
If they didn’t know Golis is a Hormuud rebrand for the PL market, now they know. They can make up fake percentages or what not but it’s a public knowledge Golis is owned by Hormuud.

At least Mogadishu is caasimad and has a massive population so therefore it’s obvious Shabaab/ISIS focus on this as well as it being harder for the security forces to keep tabs of millions of ppl. Worst of all there’s IDPs on the outskirts so easy recruiting tool.

Bosaso is a unique situation imo. Small city compared to Xamar, significantly easier to control security yet they probably face the most homegrown attacks (by that I mean attacks from inside the city rather than from Shabaab controlled territory).

There’s two specific clans associated with terrorism and that is warsangeli (ISIS) and Cali Saleebaan (Shabaab). They had a major fight well outside the mountains and deeper inside PL civilian populations a few weeks ago.

And you are right PL is called out by the US for illicit weapons trade business. Only a few months ago in the sanctions
