Write here the advice you would give to your younger self.

1. Fear Allah as much as you can. And know that if you can't see Him, He can see you.
2. Teach yourself to wake up before sun rise. As the saying goes 'early to rise makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise'. The sun does not catch successful people in bed.
3. There are certain skills that are hard to acquire outside of school. Pick courses that you like, however pick courses that also challenge you. Make sure you acquire hard skills like statistics and take writing seriously. At the workfloor you should be able to explain complex materials in a short and simple sentences.
4. Life is unfair. Fair is just another four letter word that starts with F. The way you handle disappointments will define you as a person.
5. Never forget who you're, the rest of the world sure won't. Instead of trying to fit in, work hard to stand out.
6. Watch less TV and read more. Books are to the brains what gym is to muscles.
7. Go outside your comfort zone and befriend people that are far away from you in terms of race, religion and social economic status. You'll be surprised how much you'd have in common.
8. Start eating healthy and cut the baasto and bariis hooyo makes. The older you get, the harder it is to get those abs.
9. Call your parents more often bastardyahow
10. Don't hang out with too much Somalis and don't cut them off completely. Somalis are like salt: too little of it makes your food tasteless, too much of it makes it inedible. Try to find the right balance.

My parents said something very similar to this except they used fire instead of salt. You get too close and you'll get burned, you go far away and you'll get cold
:ohhh:

10 is too much as I'm still young(18). But I'll still do few.
- You'll be fine. Everything will be alright.

- Enjoy the day for what it is, stop worrying about tomorrow.

- Sometimes, your friends are only your friends because you spend 8yrs a day with them.

- Don't let momentary anger push you to make life changing decisions. Step away from the situation, calm down, and then come back the next day when you can think with a clear mind and understand the consequences of your actions.

- The best kept secrets are the ones who never leave your lips. Keep your mouth shut.

It's okay to cry, it doesn't make you weak.
You will find your voice.
The things you're worried about now, won't matter in the future. You will learn how to get over things quickly.
You're your only bestfriend, never trust people too much.
You will learn how to love a certain someone from a distance, doesn't matter if they call you heartless and cold, this is better for them and yourself.
You will appreciate Somalis as you get older, infact you will learn to tolerate even the reer badiyo ones.
You can't defend people who don't want to be defended. Let it go and focus on your own things.
Someone will appreciate the dark humor you bottle up.
