Al-cadaala has in the past released stuff I thought was dodgy and don’t use him as a proper source. But we are at war and propaganda is crucial war tactic. All fair in my opinion.

What I find strange about this entire offensive is the extensive media coverage it's received over the past few months. I mean, these Shabaab guys aren't dabaals they wouldn't engage in a losing battle. I'm confident they've used this time to strategize and gain some advantage. Personally, I would have preferred if the government had mobilized its troops discreetly, revealing the operation only after it had started. All this prolonged "we will start an offensive" chanting for months probably handed Shabaab a considerable advantage. They should have initiated the offensive without giving much notice
