Not everyone deserves a chance at life, especially if the child carries a diagnose with long-term chronic pains and imobility.
Fundamentally there are 3 main problems with pro-life movement:
1: Banning abortion doesn't diminish the need for it, only the safe way to gain it, ironically this leads to MORE women dying, how pro-life of thee...
2: The government has no right to regulate what a person does with their body, once you allow that, you set the precedent for the government determining what bodily autonomy you can have.
3: An embroy is not a baby, and most abortion happen before or within 20 weeks and the organic lifeform cannot feel or reflect over it.
Why not genetically modify embryos? We have the technology to add and remove gens with tools such as Cas9/CRISPR. But they only reason why this isn't used is because of people being frightened by the sheer thought of GMO-Humans. It will happen sooner or later. History has shown that it is impossible to quell the interest of science. If only there were a place on Earth without some rule on this subject

I think I am pro life also. Imagine someone deciding on killing you without you having a word to say about it(baby), I think it's like some sick murder club that some sick women come together and feast on their baby killing urges. Women tend to love to kill things which they can control since a male is far more dominant so they cant exactly exercise that aggression towards them.
Notice how society decides on 'morals', I think my brother @Haji is starting to realize we can set and believe any moral we want. If we decided murdering chinese girls is the thing, we would come back in here and question if it's right or wrong and you would have the same divide happening as pro life and pro choice.

Hehe. I come from a fundamentalist family. It would have never happened. Don't waste your time even dreaming about the ifs when there was no if.
So you think it's ok to kill a child for no fault of their own because they have a disability or their father was a rapist. That's brilliant logic, punish a baby for something they are not responsible for. The only circumstance is when a mother life is at risk, there is no other justification for murder.

3) Right, but abortions are legal way past its embriyo stage. It's a fetus until its born, why is it unethical to abort a fetus at 28 weeks and not at 24? It can survive outside the womb and has developed all critical organs. Your argument of the 'organic lifeform' not being able to feel or reflect over it is nonsensical because the same logic can be applied at a much later stage.
2) They already do, and that's okay. They ban consumption of harmful substances and dangerous activities all the time and everyone seems to be content with it. Besides, they're intervening on behalf of the fetus. Why shouldn't its life trump bodily autonomy (with exceptions of course)? This seems like an even more rational position to hold if you consider that the fetus is a direct consequence of the woman's actions. Contraception is beautiful in the sense that either partner can prevent pregnancy.
1) That's the only valid point imho, people will abort regardless, but the idea is to discourage as many people as possible. Perhaps re-focus on educating people and addressing the issue rather than treating the symptom

There are certain boundaries I cannot cross, the child is a separate being while in the womb. I would definitely be pro-life in the West. 99% of abortions happen because of female carelessness. There are so many contraceptives available, no need to kill a human child because of irresponsibility.
