I can’t get myself to vote for him. The NDPs have been hijacked by Reer Curry and I simply do not trust them. At least we know what we’re getting with blackface Trudeau.

Scheer... The guy seems boring and just another dead Harper

If you think that then you're too young to remember Harper and just how far right he is compared to Scheer.

The libs will always have your vote so long as Ahmed Hussen is in the cabinet. :ulyin:

Yeah I'm tired of Kirsty. But she's always pandering. Faisal lost against her. That Pakistani guy lost against her. She's undefeatable. All she does is go to Woodbine in a hijab on Eid and pander.

Ahmed Hussen might win off of name alone. He's kinda a big deal now. But it's hard to tell.

Yes that true about Kristy. She speaks a few Somali words and has all the votes. Crazy.

Faisal was smart in going to YSW. He’s prob gonna be there forever. Heard great things about him.

Ahmed I’m not sure, he def had it in the bag in 2015 but I don’t know how he’ll fare now.

If Andrew Scheer supported the carbon tax, he would likely be looking be in majority territory. A lot of centre-right people are holding their noses and voting Trudeau on this issue alone. The carbon tax is fundamentally a conservative idea. But he doesn't want to piss off prairie hicks that want their pickups to be subsidized by others who are more environmentally conscious.
What are you talking about? Subsided pickups?

I am voting NDP. It's time this rich bastards paid more taxes it's bad enough the mayor keeps property taxes low. I don't care if I am throwing my vote away. When we get election reform and a system like France with runoff elections the conservative party is finished all they got is all of Alberta and brown people in Brampton.

NDP voter in a nutshell. :banderas:

NDP will never govern federally. :manny:

Jagmeet easily. I'd vote Green Party but they aren't going to win , but Jagmeet has been rising.

Jagmeet is offering to remove tuition interest debt and he isn't pandering like Trudeau. He's got my vote.

Trudeau and Scheer are clearly the worst aside from PPC and the other one.

Vote NDP serious.

all Trudeau does is pander. He's too much of a liberal pussy. Pandering to the LGBTQ, foreign countries and Feminism. His policies are shit.
Absolutely. He is the worst type of phony. His foreign affairs minister is also terrible. Seen as like this great female state woman but is just a regime change peddling Yankee bootlicking POS.

So Jagmeet isn't pandering with all of the giveaways he is promising?:mjlaugh:

The mpp is NDP. It could swing.

Edit: oh NVM thought you were talking about york-southweston
Yeah Faisal is great and does the work for sure. Hussen just shows up for photo ops and stuff, and his phone at his constituents office doesn’t get picked up according to the people who live there. I think it could go either way.

What are you talking about? She's Ukrainian and uses her position to fight Russia for her country. I admire that.

What makes Liberal better than NDP, serious question? What policies make it better?

For starters, liberals actually understand the economy and know what is practical. A wealth tax won't work in Canada. A 75% capital gains rate would not only be disastrous for the country's capital markets but also increase inequality. How? At 75%, in effect those millennials who rely on investing in the stock market will be subsidizing those who use their principal residence as their retirement. Singh has never once suggested scrapping the principal residence exemption. Why is he for such gross inequality? :mjpls:

This is all besides the point. The populism you see in the US doesn't work in Canada. It's not and never has been part of the culture, history, nor the heritage of the country. It's always has been about incremental steps.

He has a slim chance. No way the NDP will govern at the federal level. A pipe dream at most.

Can I see your sources or references? I can respond better to your points if you show me the sources. Also Trudeau isn't doing much to mitigate the Student Debt. At least Jagmeet is aiming towards removing federal interest on all student loans.

With regards to his accomplishments, look at this

He has only achieved 60% of his promises. I'm sorry but that is far too low.

Honestly aside from legalizing marijuana, what has he actually done?

I did like what he did for refugees and immigration coming from parents who are immigrants, but thats about it.

Jagmeet is going to allow $15/hour, better pharmacare, reduce tuition interest, focusing on climate change and other factors which will benefit Canadians. I would rather take NDP or Green Party over Liberals.

You want a source for something that's in his campaign platform?

Student debt is nowhere near as bad or as crushing as it is in the US. It's way more manageable and even then he has proposed some changes that would help recent graduates by delaying the grace-period to 2 years. That's all besides the point. Education, wage laws, and healthcare are provincial matters. The feds should not create a moral hazard for right-wing governments that are slashing and burning social programs.

Your unrealistic goals and voting choice is precisely why we have Ford at the provincial level. Split that left vote and open up the path for Scheer to the PMO. I don't like Trudeau. He absolutely has his issues. That's the difference between me and you. I'm willing to admit that. But I'm a pragmatist. The goal should be to keep Scheer out of office at all cost.
