Great news jariban and east Mudug needs to see more development, i would like to see east Mudug become a new gobol like how Karkar separated from bari and grown since then, west mudug is much more developed and have more bigger district like Galdogob, Bursalah, Harfo etc which are role models in local governance and community developments.

I hope this doesn't turn into a 'phantom' project or gets delayed. As much as I love reer mudug initiatives like 'wadaagsin' they take forever to complete and constantly runs into 'hurdles' or obstacles in terms of funding. Did they plan out their project properly or do they just do things on the fly and encounter these hurdles and get stuck? Projects need to be measured against 'time of initation' of project to the 'time of completion'. We need clear timetables for each deliverable or milestone reached or phases completed. They shouldn't do things on the fly. Let them prepare a timetable and list all the activities that need to be done from start to finish and apply a time measurement for each component.

As for 'pier' depths, does that really matter? most cargo shipping containers and vessels are similar 'depth' levels, the only different size is 'length' level. So I don't think 'depth' level matters to much at all, but the 'length' of the port will matter since 'cargo' ships are far 'longer in length' then your standard 'trading ship' in Bosaso.

Ships are not about 'depth' level, it's about length. The longer the ship, the more you can store on containers. Depth levels of a port are irrelevant in the scheme of things. U just need to ensure your port is deep enough for the 'containers' nothing else which are all the same depth size anyways. They differ however on length size, so your port 'length' size will matter a-lot more then it's depth size.

You do however need 'strong concrete' base as your port, it has to be strong enough to 'hold' the container ship, remember this is basic physics. The weight on the ship needs to be held steady by the weight of the 'port' and that will depend on materials. For example 'laying' dirt for example is not good solid base like that bosaso port they attempted recently. It can't withstand holding the weight of the container in place. Concrete and Steel foundations can. You need a strong port and the port is defined by the materials it's made from. Make it the best strongest concrete sxb, we want to be hold any weight the ship carries or else they have to travel back to dubai 5 times as the load can't be docked down one time in the port due to your shitty physics.

Puntites are not haters and both Garacad and Hobyo can serve the large Horn of Africa market.

We can all eat at the same time.

GM isn't in the stage of development, hawiye is rushing thru key stages of life. There is no point developing if a militia group will do an isbaaro on trade when he jumps out of the 'rural' areas and comes to the road like a 'beast' he is. Ninkani 'heeshish' ma arko, marka waa ku qasban yahay inu jebiyo horumar kasta dhacdo. I wouldn't even discuss horumar or development in the south, it's pointless, that's why shabab just explodes everything they build, hadee orodo heeshish siyasadeed iyo mid bulsho samaysta kadib dastur qorta, hadi kale, waqtiga ha iska dumin horumar adeer. U give no confidence to locals to invest or foreigners beyond 'war investors' type who like risky environments but they are usually not RICH investors they are trying they're luck to get rich, kuwasi WAY KUGU SHAQAYSANAYA, FA'IDO IDIN MA SOO WADAN, ITS CALLED SUUQ MADOW ADEER
