Why is slavery still a thing?

Everyone practiced slavery at some point and the ones that sold the most were Bantus themselves

At least everyone else had the mind to enslave others but West African tribes sold their own clan members.

Somalis were not involved at all in the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade, which is what he is talking about.

Only ISIS and Al Shabab believe slavery is halal today. Islam limited the ways you could enslave someone and encouraged their emancipation to the point where slavery was able to be abolished, this was to prevent societal collapse as freeing all slaves immediately was not tenable. It’s haram to enslave someone today.

Didn’t you say that you’re in your early 20s? Its impossible for your grandfather to have owned slaves since it was outlawed in the 1920s by the Italians, which was 100 years ago. If you’re gonna lie, at least make it more believable. :mjlol:

Slavery didn’t just happen to blacks but it is mainly associated with blacks because the two largest slave trades (Trans Atlantic and Trans Saharan) involved blacks. When people say words like ‘abeed’, they are referring to blacks.
