Those talking about ways of disciplining a diaspora female they got the misfortune of getting married to are out of their minds regardless what techniques you employ.
I know off friends who simply expressed their disappointment, then as per sunnah conflict resolution slept on the sofa when things didn't improve.
The next morning to the guys horror, the women fled to her parents house and she has been their now for 18 months with the marriage in Limbo.
She refuses to listen to her own family and all other arbitration attempts but at the same time is not asking for divorce either (child is involved too)
You cannot discipline Xoolo's like this in the West because it always backfires, this particular women has a Masters Degree and there are many like her out their, it's a common story now.
