Haye maxa haysaan cawa. Aniga caloolsha baa I xanuun naysa. Bisbaas badaan baa cunaay afuurki. Hindi cunto wa kululshahay.

Deg deg is quick or hurry.
But dhak is a sort of "jumpy fast" if that even makes sense.
Have you ever heard Farxiya fiska's song dhak dhak? It's the samme word.
She sings: "wadnahaa i dhak leeh, dhak dhak" as in my heartbeat is fast and jumpy. The problem is the context i've used it in can't be translated directly.

Dhak or Dhag, it's same word.

I was just talking on the phone to my mum not long ago about an issue and she was like "waxkastiba waa dhag" meaning everything seems good/perfect.

It's a multifaceted word like many other Somali words.
We have a rich and beautiful language.
One thing can have 100's of different words to describe it and one word can describe 100's of different things.
To me that's the essence of the Somali language. I love its versatility.

I wonder why Somali pretend like they speak mother tongue, while they born and bread in refugee camps. Tf is wrong with this people man!
