Abdullahi Yusuf no doubt. He inherited a big pile of shit and turned it into Lasagna. Only Somali president who returned a Somali government by force to Mogadishu and bankrolled his government with Bosaso port revenues and before that by building the first peaceful, thriving region into the first Federal member state Puntland, the launch pad for the Federal Republic of Somalia and role model to every state that came after it.
Even after his death, Somali people reap the rewards of his accomplishments if you look at the construction boom in Mogadishu, Garacad Port, Goojacade. His Legacy is second to none.

with that out of the way, the best president ever: Siad Barre.
he single handedly upgraded our security sector, had a grip on the republic.
We were respected on the world stage and most importantly it was because of xoog.
the first president and pm's were also badasses how ever they did not hold the same power Siad had.
it is a that he lost his wits, we could have been prosperous by now.
