Actually we have been hearing about this news for 1 week in social media it is nothing new there was many Somalia making passport offices in Hargeisa in the past as well.Just because it wasn't posted earlier doesn't mean it is not true. As for the quota and stuff nothing to do with this topic.

Because that's good news, everyone on this platform just shares all the made up bad news. This site should be called Koonfur Spot or Anti SLSpot. The idea behind this platform was to provide a space for Somalis to communicate and share ideas but it's just a daily somaliland bashing session

I think this is good news if true. Rer Somaliland use go to Garoowe to get it and now since there are tensions, it makes sense to open a branch in Hargeisa. Makes people lives that much easier.

They don't realize people need a passport if they want to go to Hajj/Umrah and do basic business in other countries.
Not everyone is eligible to get a Djibouti/Ethiopian passport.
