The biggest mistake by Imam Ahmed which led to his own demise was ignoring the request of the Ottoman musketeers to hand over the body of Cristavo da Gama to Constantinople. Imam Ahmed decided to execute Cristavo da Gama with his own hands, which infuriated the Turks. The ottoman commander withdrew his elite contingent from Adal, which helped Imam Ahmed gain a decisive victory at the battle of Wofla. The Turks deserted to Yemen, which left Imam Ahmed's forces vulnerable.

If Imam Ahmed complied with the request of the Turks, they could have found out crucial intelligence information about the Portuguese and Ethiopia. This would have led to a complete victory at the battle of Wayna Gaga, the collapse of the Solonomic dynasty and the end of Portuguese presence in the Red Sea. It would have been a victory for both the Ottoman empire and Adal. A very sad outcome.
Looks like you're exaggerating somethings,
It's because of Ahmed’s wealth and intelligence that he made the Ethiopian empire on her knees
Not because of the "support" from the Ottoman empire (I'm not denying that they did support him).

Also nothing would've changed
What would ahmed gain if he has given cristavo da gama? Ottomans needs him no more meaning they'll withdraw, Same scenario.

He also died because of the will of Allah saw
Ottomans were still there when he died.

Alhamdulilah he did execute him with his own hands the child of the famous vasco da gama.

I never claimed it was solely due to the ottomans' support that Imam Ahmed was victorious in most of his military expeditions against the Ethiopian empire. Imam Ahmed was a courageous, smart and ambitious individual. He was on the verge of extinguishing the ancient Ethiopian kingdom until the Portuguese arrived. At that moment, the tide turned against him.

Imam Ahmed underestimated the strength and power of the Portuguese army in Ethiopia. The Ottomans had a lot of experience in dealing with the Portuguese military and won many decisive battles against them. If Imam Ahmed handed over the body of Cristavo da Gama to the Ottomans, the Turks could have pressured Cristavo Da Gama to tell them vital intelligence information about Portuguese military secrets in Ethiopia and the Red Sea. This would have been a victory for both the Ottomans and Imam Ahmed. But qadr allah wa masha fa'al.

The majority of the elite contingent that was sent to bolster Imam Ahmed's forces in the battle of Wofla deserted to Yemen. The majority of the elite contingent departed back to Yemen when Imam Ahmed refused to hand over the body of Cristavo da Gama. Only 200 Turks remained behind.

Ahmed dismissed all but 200 Ottomans, it was his decision. The others would have stayed even if he didn’t hand over the Portuguese commander, he had already paid for their services with lavish war booty to the Pasha of Zabid. The refusal to hand over Cristavao was most likely an act of defiance and a clear message that Adal was not beholden to Istanbul. The Ottomans had imperial designs on Africa and on India and holding the younger brother of the Portuguese governor of India (Estavao da Gama) hostage would have been a major geopolitical bargaining chip.

Ahmed must have been weary, however, of the fact that everything on the other side of the Red Sea was Ottoman Empire and everything West of Suakin was also Ottoman Empire. The Mamluks of Egypt had also only been recently conquered by the Turks, so Ahmed most likely had a suspicion that if he let them get too comfortable in his lands that the same would happen to his empire so he released most of the Ottoman force from their commitment and let them sail back to Yemen as he was certain the conquest of Abyssinia had been fully realised.

The Battle of Wofla clearly made Ahmed overconfident, and it makes sense, because with Cristavao being death, the Portuguese were reduced and leaderless, the Abyssinians were demoralised with a young inexperienced monarch, and the Wayna Dayga battle itself was heading for a guaranteed Adal victory as he still had an technological advantage. Ahmed Guray however underestimated how much the Portuguese commander meant to his men and they focused all of their attention on him at the battlefield. They were willing to die just to kill him, so Ahmed was dealing with suicide-knights.

An extra 700 musketeers on Adal’s side targeting the enemy line would have made it impossible for a Portuguese arquebusier to break through and target the Imam, hence why the dismissal of the contingent back to Zabid was premature and ultimately fatal otherwise Wayna Dayga would have gone the same way as the later Battle of Fatagar.

I heard that the Ethiopian government obtained it, destroyed it, and refused to show it to people

Source? I wouldn’t be surprised though, Ethiopian leaders always approached their standing in the region and the world by invoking historical legitimacy, even when it was blatantly false, they still pressed ahead with the claim.
