The internet in Mogadishu has been shut down, but the rest of the country still has access and haven't been affected by what's happening in Mogadishu.

Federalism=spreading the risks. I was facetiming with my cousins in Garowe just a minute ago, if we were in the same basket as Mogadishu that wouldn't be possible:hillarybiz:

I don't think any rational person should be opposed to federalism at the moment. It's a necessary evil, I wouldn't want it around in the future if Somalia ever prospers.

Let's not pretend that federalism is not a veil for tribalism with each clan demanding its own state.

I don't think that's a good example since it's private sector that owns and operates the network(s) throughout Somalia.

Rumour has it that the governmnet cut the internet on purpose to cut the communication line of AS.

Tjioux

the pussy is never yours, its just your turn.
Centralism will never work in Somalia, only federalism works.
In the future i hope the country will be divided into three main states:
Somaliland(Waaqoyi G), Puntland(Bari) and South Somalia.
Abolish all other states.

Basically tutus getting fucked over and everyone else doing just fine, manshallah you are right....federalism is working!

Somalia's internet outage costing country $10 million a day
By The Associated PressHARGEISA, Somalia — Jul 8, 2017, 2:53 PM ET

Somalia's government says a widespread internet outage that began roughly two weeks ago is costing the Horn of Africa nation about $10 million each day and is a "major disaster."

The post and telecommunications minister, Abdi Anshur Hassan, told a press conference Saturday that Somalia has lost more than $130 million so far.

The loss of internet service has sparked anger across Somalia and affected the central and southern parts of the country including the capital, Mogadishu.

The minister didn't say what caused the outage, but officials and internet providers have attributed the problem to a commercial ship that they said cut an undersea cable.

Hassan says the government is working to restore internet service as quickly as possible.

Somalia is trying to emerge from a quarter-century of conflict.

Inshallah once Benadir state is created Federalism would be the best thing to ever happen to Somalia :icon lol:

Only way to have a centralised government is if the capital is moved to Garowe. I'd personally campaign for centralism and wage a holy war against my new arch enemy: federalism :mjswag:
