Deni is a public official so according to his own constitution he must vacate his seat. This is what VP of PL is saying.

I knew Deni was a dictator who doesn't care about laws or puntland's constitution. This isn't surprising, watch how people defend him regardless. They claim to be defending puntland but they are just cultists. If they were serious they'd defend puntland's laws that Deni made a joke of.
Even Puntlands Politicians like Haji Cali warsame is against Dictator Deni, and is calling for the VP Karash to be the President of Puntland.

This isn’t the first time Deni has flouted PL constitution. He illegally removed 8 opposition MPs and the speaker after bribing the parliament . Then he killed the former speakers security detail inside the parliament itself. If that's the case, why didn't Gaas or Faroole resign when they were campaigning to remain state president?
When did they run for President of Somalia ? As far as I know the last presidential election was between Farmaajo , HSM, and Sheikh sharif

But he is starting his campaign for it none the less. He’s flying to Minnesota soon and heading to Mogadishu soon. That’s clearly campaigning for another election
He can use the presidency of PL to place his cards right. You can only campaign when the date is confirmed. Besides not every state forwarded their MPs, Gedo MPs are still missing.
But regardless of the date what he’s doing right now is clearly campaigning for another office. That’s kind of the reason you have to resign to do that in the first place right? Neglecting his duties while flying to America and Mogadishu to raise funds. He’s not visiting those places for the betterment of PL just his own ambitions to be President of Somalia. Regardless of the date the rule is in place to prevent things exactly like this

This is for people running for other seats besides the one they already hold. Why would this be decided by the courts when it’s in the constitution?
Why would Deni do such a risky move if you are correct? As it stands he remains PL leader and no ruling/authority has yet to declare he has voided his current position
Well Deni clearly doesn’t like abiding by the constitution as he has in the past flouted it. The matter will soon be put before the court is he refuses to do what he’s constitutionally obligated to do. The VP knows he should be leading the country now. If blocked this will trigger bigger issues as the VP is dhulbahante and may trigger exodus of that clan from Puntland project
