There could be many analysis made from this speech. Kabakutukade could be trying to improve his Abgaal credentials and improve support for Shabaab from them. Or he could see Shabaab’s days in Central Regions is over and is readying himself for giving himself in so wants to have a good deal backed by his kin.

Regardless it’s interesting in his interview he particularly hated on HSM not another politicians

Yeah Abgaal is pretty much an lost cause , they have used all the Somalia's National Army SNA, Danab, and Gorgor in their disposal, and they still couldn't dislodge Alshabaab from their lands, while HGs and Xawadle have successfully defeated and held on to the lands they liberated from Alshabaab.

I guess some clans (Like Abgaal, Murusade, Duduble, Rahanweyne and Galjecel) just prefer the Alshabaab governance than the Somalia's National governance.

You think Duduble flee their land and don’t come back for months to years? We’ll have to move in our reer miyi to secure the place if that’s the case

How about they govern themselves without xamar putting its nose in their respective regions?

Maybe then they want to liberate their lands.

There must be a good reason why they want to stay under shabaab instead of the fgs, which speaks volumes.

Even if President Hassan Sheikh is sincere about eradicating Alshabab sadly his own tribe is not for they have become Ansaar supporters to AlShabab. The president must choose between the Nation or his own tribe if that means targeting Abgaal terrorists with drone strike and necessary bloodbath, further action is much needed to pin them down.

You clearly have an agenda but the last makeshift Shabaab base in Middle Shabelle was just bombed as we speak. Local SNA from Runirgood with their Xildhiban and Degmada Wadajir DC left xamar to clean the district as a whole which is the only place in the gobol left under Shabaab hands. Highly doubt there is even 50 AS members left though.

They slept in nur dugle and are less than 15km to Runirgood. They aren’t allowed to come back to xamar until they stabilise the district and every village that comes under it except daru nicma for obvious reasons.
