Yes I know. They’re not seen as being part of the community. But that’s isn’t the discussion.Gaal Somalis are often looked down opon by other religious conservative Muslim Somalis it's just the way it is they think it's eccentric and quaint.
Lol you probably dont know Abu lahab is his direct uncle and he did disown him and the prophet and the sahabah did fight and kill their kaffir brothers, fathers and relatives. Abu obaidah killed his owned father in Badr and was praised by Allah in the Quran. That's a stupid take man!
The prophet's entire lineage, starting from his dad are gaalo! Yet they are all considered Arabs, and even the best of Arabs. How do you explain that?
Why did the Prophet(SAW) not severe ties with his uncle? WHy didn't he disown him?
Funny how youre calling me the Skit-zo. First off, I'm arguably more mentally sound then you are.Warya why does your shitty, schizophrenic counter-argument imply that I'm an apostate?
You've explained it perfectly. They'll always be Somali because they have full Somali blood in their veins + traceable qabil. Sorry to break it to the hardliners on here who take the metaphor "If you aren't Muslim, you aren't Somali" literally. It's just meant to communicate that holding onto our Islamic values is of the utmost importance. Not that they're officially banned from claiming Somali lol
The actual question is will they be ever considered as a part of the community during our lifetime, considering how irreligious the world is becoming?
I don't think so, because Islam is a core part of our Somali identity, so there's always gonna be a wedge driven between us and them, the moment they come out as ex-Muslims. We don't have a naturally occurring group of non-Muslims like the Lebanese so the relationship is going to be antagonistic right off the bat, plus the juicy incentive apostates in our community have to smear our name for political clout and get us all killed Ayaan Hirsi style is gonna keep us paranoid and on high-alert
Maybe they'll be considered Somali by the community during the end times, since a lot of our descendants would leave Islam, as the famous hadith says holding onto the diin will become like 'holding onto hot coals' by then.
Thank you, there's a lot of mentally challenged toddlers on here who can't differentiate between these basic things. You've explained it perfectly.

I think you are correct. Non Muslim Arabs are still Arabs. There were Arab kiristan before there was Arab muslim. How can there be non Muslim Arabs but not non Muslim Somalis when the Arabs were the first to join Islam? Those standards don’t make sense in light of those facts. Your first sentence contradicts everything that follows after it. If Somali gaals aren't Somali anymore, then why refer to them as Somali in the first place?By Biology Somali gaals are Somali.
However in every way that matters you’re not.
You may as well make a new identity or join the ones that make ‘Somali Gaal’ an identity.
@NordicSomaliDid you even read the full thread before commenting? We're on the same side.
She gives me woke angry woman vibesFunny how youre calling me the Skit-zo. First off, I'm arguably more mentally sound then you are.
You keep brining this up whenever i interact with you, are you projecting ? Yes
I don’t tend to read full threads if they happen to be several pages, I usually reply to original posts.@NordicSomali
BTW I wasn't trying to insult you with that question actually.
I just meant to ask you earlier but forgot to at the time of that thread, so I took the opportunity to ask yesterday since you were there.
