Whiteness is changing so there will be more volitality in the future but by splintered diverse groups of many ideologies, interests, and conflicting solution orientations. Some racial tensions will always be mixed with class issues and used here and there for historical legitimacy and identity affirmations but the overall landscape is no longer the same. This dichotomous black-and-white thing is not applicable going further.

The world has changed beyond the "White" (in America) integrity line of the old demographic-power conceptions. If you even observe the newer White nationalists, what you find is that they are far removed from the traditional ones. They would not even share the same values. Kids these days are radicalized through esoteric nihilistic woohoo from obscure parts of the internet and are usually social outcasts even in their immediate environments. Those are the fringe ones. While the majority of racist White people are moving closer to a center that very much accepts a Black American as a fellow than an immigrant from Mexico.

Now those are not the majority of White people. The predominantly white people who fall into the center-left or center-right, politically, are usually very averse to any outward racialist collectivism. The sense of Whiteness that existed in isolation before is gone.

Racism exists and will continue to exist, but as I said, the times are too different to use old conceptions about White versus Blacks. Further, friction between groups is a symptom of a deeper problem. Usually, things are not going well on the economic, cultural, social, or structural front with regard to politics and the functions of institutions.

I wonder if paradigms go through fatigue on a macro scale where human nature in the collective sense degrades until it creates a rupture for a paradigm shift. When things are not balanced for too long, something is going to happen, whether good or bad, tipping the scale is just a natural human phenomenon when the systems are less than ideal. Reminded me of a movie I saw the other day that had a quote about how you need to destroy to give life. I dont subscribe to these measures, it's just what happens in large trends.
