The only people who are begging for 'One Maamul' are the Hawiye officials representing Galmudug. They are desperate to join Puntland. At this meeting they even discussed Puntland's local elections that will take place in Galkacyo.
Look at the image that is displayed at this meeting. It's the emblem of Galkacyo/Mudug and it's the tower that Suldaan Keenadiid built in Galkacyo. Yet Bariire and other delusionals actually think there is a snowball's chance in hell that Galmudug will ever rule North Mudug.

I remember @Thegoodshepherd pointing out the future of Galmudug. The fact is that HG are focused on Mogadishu and due to this, they are south-facing and Galmudug is nothing more than a vanity project. In order to be a viable state, Galmudug needs a decent population, but they are haemorrhaging people.
Whereas, North Mudug is only going to grow population wise, Puntites in Mudug are content to stay there. You can already see where things are headed and it's not going to be Caydiid's fantasy of ruling all of Mudug.

Abaayo gloating about GM having its internal strife isnt a bragging right, as you know every state had or is having currently its conflict (SL had habro wars and PL had MS wars).
GM is no different and even @DR OSMAN understood this, anyway ahlu-suufis is the last chapter of internal conflict for GM before we face terrorists shabaabs.

You opened this topic to gloat and tell a false tale about Galmudug absorbing North Mudug, when in fact, the discourse and symbolism throughout the meeting is pointing towards Puntland absorbing your part of Mudug- if any such thing was to happen.

There might have to be a constitutional amendment nationally that would officially split Mudug into two. If Mudug does divide to be two separate regions then Middle Jubba and Lower Jubba should merge to become one region called Jubba

A United mudug canβt join Puntland because itβll be too big and galmudug is already an established state, so the only rational non tribalist view would be for north mudug to be part of galmudug like it was originally intended for.

This is what Puntland wanted for Galmudug to begin with, remember, it was Puntland who supported Galmudug's creation and 'recognised' it as a Federal Member state in order to promote Federalism.
Galmudug is not an established State, it's only a 'state' in name. At no point since its inception has it operated as a unified state. It's 2021, and there are still major divisions.
The fact is that Puntland has been propping up this lifeless body called 'Galmudug' in order to promote Federalism. It needs major reconciliation efforts in order to function properly.
Even Hobyo Port, which was supposed to be an actual Port, ended up becoming a fishing pier. Nobody is taking it seriously, but a lot of people don't want to speak facts.
