CULTURE Example of Vernacular Somali Architecture

Apparently, this is a ruin of an old building located in a place called Waqderia in Sanaag.

It was made from adobe strengthened with shrubs and gravel and a staircase made of juniper poles taken from the Cal Madow mountains.

I've not seen anything like this before and it's very cool.

another standing structure is Ceelaayo fort

there are forts in Ceelaayo, Durduri, Laasqoray and Waqderiya
