Descendants of Somali Italians from colonial times

Imagine if more Italians came to Somalia and they mixed with the local Somalis creating a new mixture like what happen in brazil. Do you guys think that they would have been accepted by us Somalis? or they would have been outcasts and driven out of Somalia and back to Italy?

Many Italians converted to Islam while in Somalia, their offspring are still living in Somalia, if they did not leave during the war.

The clan structure is very strong in Somalia, if more Italians would have come, they would have assimilated into a clans they mixed with.

Most Somalis would not mix with them as they are not Muslim (especially women). Religion is a primary deterrent. The population would always be small. And not have a large impact on the majority population of ethnic Somalis.
