voter numbers aren’t the best indicator of population bro most of the north was reer badiyo back then46% comes from @Thegoodshepherd I dont know where he got that number but I assume its a tribal fantasy with some NGO population estimate behind it. The population was 80% majority community and 20% minority communities in 1960 election.
But lets assume the tribal fantasy number is true. 46% plurality imposed democracy on the minority communities i.e. the 46% community must have collaborators from the minority communities
Why lol
How did reer Boroma go from conquering Abyssinians with us during Adal to actually being conquered by some basic Somali qabil? That shit makes no sense. They need a big wake up call
Thank you. Much appreciated. I will probably be off the market when I get bored of terrorizing the Abdis here. Then I'll accept the offer of a never-married businessman my family knows.lol, your defense of beesha is well admired. I have to ask, are you married yet?
I remember you being gorgeous.
I believe Somalia is the way it is because Samaroon decided to look away. Some of our best scholars, teachers and commanders have been Gedabursi and with them we were able to unify Somalis and other Muslims throughout the Horn of Africa. I would advice that all of you meet up in Boroma to discuss further enriching your forefathers history. Somalia needs you, maskaxiyan waa dad loo baahanyahay. Much respectAbout the semi-illiterate and incompetent Police Chief promoted without reason. You can't expect much from him. I'd blame the administration that gave him a leg up. He lacks cunning, innate intelligence, training, and diplomacy for the role. He's probably envious of the MP because he can at least read and write proficiently. I would feel threatened if all I could do was chew khat and beat my chest.
Also, Samaroon is not conquered by anyone. Our dagans are primarily in Ethiopia. My sub-clan isn't even from Somaliland though I could enter the political ring tomorrow if I wanted, given my connections. Our libaaxs, movers, and shakers are from across the border. We don't care as much about a semi-independent state appended to Somalia that refuses to accept it is a Siamese twin that eats from the same foreign aid begging bowl.
Do you ever wonder why certain individuals (often small voices) sometimes mention us out of turn while we don't give diddly squat about them? It's because a hapless geeljire never forgets a historical grievance. And we also don't need to talk up what we've done or negate others to elevate ourselves. For us, confidence is silent. And silence is golden.
Thank you. Much appreciated. I will probably be off the market when I get bored of terrorizing the Abdis here. Then I'll accept the offer of a never-married businessman my family knows.
They already gave us Dr. Beyle who manages our nation’s pocketbook. I think they are a great asset to the Somali nation.I believe Somalia is the way it is because Samaroon decided to look away. Adoo weyn, inaba caadi ma ahan. I got much love and respect for rer Boroma their history speaks for themselves even though some of their neighbors try to steal some of these accomplishmentsThey already gave us Dr. Beyle who manages our nation’s pocketbook. are you dreaming or something. Waad riyoonaysaIsaaq were something like 65% of British Somaliland’s population from 1950 to ~2005. The decline in the Isaaq share of northern Somalia’s population is recent.
As recently as 2000 Isaaq and Harti had somewhat similar fertility rates, with differences in growth rate more explained by differences in child mortality rather than fertility.
This phenomenon where Isaaq and Gadabursi fertility is ~30% below Harti fertility is even more recent, post 2010.
Going by my estimate Isaaq are ~58% as of 2022. This will continue to decline as long as Harti fertility rates remain above Isaaq and Gadabursi fertility rates.
Harti fertility will begin to decline soon as urbanization picks up, but if Isaaq and Gadabursi fertility also continues to decline, the gap will remain the same 30%.
This is not based on bullshit data, but huge UN surveys with tens of thousands of samples. These surveys cost millions of dollars to conduct and were approved by the government of Somaliland.
They already gave us Dr. Beyle who manages our nation’s pocketbook. I think they are a great asset to the Somali nation.
Wallahi it shocks me, reer @Sophisticate produced the Samatar brothers. Their literature and predictions on the state of Somalia in the 1980s was so poignant that it gave me hope.I believe Somalia is the way it is because Samaroon decided to look away. I'm not related to the Samatar brothers but thanks I guess.Wallahi it shocks me, reer @Sophisticate produced the Samatar brothers. Their literature and predictions on the state of Somalia in the 1980s was so poignant that it gave me hope.
Socialist Somalia produced by Abdi Samatar is one of the best books i've read on the Siad Barre Eras.
Dr Beyle is a fraud and you just need to read Somalia budget books to understand why
Give this a read as it's the more comprehensive budget for 2022 than the enacted one.

I will read the budget line-by-line when I have time but it's easy to discredit you given your omission of how much the SL administration has been stealing from the public coffers for decades like many of those tuug nations on the continent and elsewhere. You need not look further than Bihi et al. If you are going to mount an ad hominem (make sure you have zero ceeb), make sure you justify it and make sure your criticisms are balanced or no one will take you seriously. I'm not familiar with you but it doesn't take a genius to know you would be singing his praises if he worked for SL and was on their payroll.

Ina adeer, I agree with @0117 on this one, Dr Beyle is a big time crooks, I even remember a thread a user posted on here where Beyle was paying a large sums of a money (35k a month)to an accounting firm in the states to hide his corrupted money's trail, Lol,
Farmaajo and Khayre usually handpick corrupted politicians, that is their memo and Beylah is even nicknamed Farmaajo's money man.
