The thing is, the horn of africa is becoming more relevant.
With China building it's only base in Djibouti, Ethiopia becoming a major player in geopolitics and 40% of maritime traffic, even Russia is looking for a base there.
So the USA even if it doesn't recognize Somaliland, it might try to prepare some economic deals with Somaliland just like Taiwan. So that they keep the influence over there.
But yeah, at this point, the south didnt move since the 1990's maybe Somaliland should ask for capital transfer etc...

we koonfurians are too savage to build a nation. i prefer a dictatorship ruled from jeegaanstan than being an amisom/un/eu colony.
