I use to think this way but idk anymore. There are just too many attention seeking Somalis online. Look at what's happened on social media in just one month. The Minnesota HS situation happened pretty recently but it feels like it was forever ago because of the amount of things that've happened since then. I've accepted that social media will always be a place were crazy attention seeking Somalis exist

At the end of the day I don't care too much because this rarely has impact on us in the real world. The only thing that's bothering me are those specific Somalilanders who are trying to attack us by involving racists and islamphobes because that might actually impact us in the real world

Yup all the qashin and buuq began with uk (and to some degree Minnesota) somalis online. I'm convinced if reer uk and reer mn didn't exist we wouldn't get much attention seeking self deprecating losers embarassing us on a daily basis. I honestly believe that it wil get worse and worse. The year hasn't even hit half the mark yet it feels like our downfall been going on for eternity.

Yea I think the answer is to just ignore the things we see online and not let it affect any of us. Focus on your deen, family, friends, career, and hobbies. I for the most part stopped commenting on the gender war threads on SSpot, and pay less attention to the other negative posts. The trolls on the internet are a loud but small minority. We should just ignore them

Keep saying that and wallahi watch him ruin your already destroyed reputations even more. You guys never think about the consequences of your actions and then wonder why everyone hates on Somalis
