It was meant as a way to sabotage but also to inflict colonial revenge.

you should still be able to manage and feed your fertile lands with or without sanctions...even somalis at the height of the civil war wasnt slaughtering its wildlife to get food, agriculture is where civilization started, how has a society forgotten this basic principle?

Somalis weren't colonised like the Zimbaweans were.

The white settlers controlled the farms but also the machines so when they were kicked out....no-one knew had to use them.

Not cause they weren't intelligent but rather cause they were prevented from using them.

Zimbabwe unlike Somalia is also land-locked which also plays a part on their current situation aswell.

There also levels to sanctions aswell. Even a historic powerful country like Iran has been brought down to their knees by it...imagine a infant country like Zimbabwe then

Don't fall for their chauvinistic narrative that Africans are doomed without the white man.

They wouldn't have to sabotage and colonise them if they did....
