It is perfectly normal and natural. In Islam it is called "Gheerah" - protective jealousy. Islamically you have to have gheerah for your womenfolk or otherwise you would become a dayuuth and paradise is forbidden for them.
On a different note, a wife may not be fond of the idea of her husband having a second wife. That is jealousy, it is natural and nothing wrong with it. There'll have to be context to this question though cuz there are limits

It depends on the intensity.
If he's slightly jealous as in somewhat protective it might be cute and an indication he cares. If he exhibits a pattern of controlling behaviour then that's unhealthy.
