I don't even have a pet cat Dark kitty was one of my nicknames classmates gave me in elementary due to my dark skin and feisty nature. That's probably why i resonate with cats

They were somali, those colorist little shits I had a serious temper problem when i was young which is why I was nicknamed kitty. Someone added "dark" to it, and it caught on. My temper slightly mellowed out over the years

I grew up with some somalis but mainly asians it was back and forth constant racism so everything was basically herd mentality somalis wouldn't go for each other everyone somali had other somalis in race wars

I'm from the UK
When we say asians we mean south asians (there were a few east asians aswell)
But mainly muslim south Asian ethnic groups and somalis.

My whole city is basically muslim.

ah, that makes sense. Over here in MN asians = Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, and occasional south asians

Yeah those types of east asians are basically non existant over here unless there exchange students coming for uni.

I have only met/seen less then a handful of mainly Indonesian/Malaysians and one Japanese revert when it comes to east asians over here. Over here its basically just south and central asians like Pakistanis/Indian/bengalis/Sri Lankans/Afghanis etc
