imagine a train from kismayo to djibouti. instead we are fighting over watering holes and wells.
Start building madrassas, its quite simple really. The somali people's primary issue is division, and a unity born from common teaching in Islam would alleviate a lot of the issues. It would also help stop extremist groups like al-sh*baab since they use lies and pretend to be real muslims.
Some people are saying all these grand projects somalia can't afford, or some stuff like socialism which would be too hard to implement immediately since this is the first major action we are taking.

My man, besides somalis are such talented business men if they were educated on how to use it they could use soft power to basically rule east africa anyway.
Imagine if the kenyan somalis did a lot of political lobbying, they would be untouchable there.
Imagine if somalis were educated and knew about the resources of africa, and used their wealth to get exclusive mining rights to many areas.

You can only get citizenship if you have one somali parent. We need to limit foreigners in our country
change the name Somalia to Samale in the far future.
adopt somali first name and surname WHILE keeping our original names aswell so basically a stage name.

A lot of this can't be achieved quickly, the thread was about your first action and most of this is not possible as a first action.
Of everything you posted, I think that the idea about citizenship is the easiest to implement with basically no pushback.
A lot of your ideas require a strict adherence to what the government says, and sadly to say somalis don't care as much as they should for rule of law.
If you focus on education you can basically make the new generation's mindset the way you want, making your more restrictive reforms possible within a decade or less.
So sticking to education, trying to build some industry, and paying off the country's debts would come first.
Assuming your faction is able to stay in power due to those positive changes, then it would be national security since you now have the capitol due to the building of industry.
If you can manage that, you will have a new generation ready to listen by the time you are done, and can no make societal changes like many bans and purging corruption.
As for the weight training for men, this can be implemented in schools and this new generation would then know the benefits first hand and would be strong enough to make gym use a must rather than a choice for others.
I would personally suggest not going that route though, instead of forcing people you can provide hadith that show such physical activity is the sunnah and therefore use religion to promote healthy living.
This way no resources would be wasted forcing gym membership, instead religion and shaming from men who do go would cause the men of the nation to go to the gym regularly.

I agree everything you said. And the main priorities would be corruption free, education and increasing wealth. Whej it comes to somali men I gym I see no issue in making mandatory since I hate seeing skinny somali men. Since we are seeing a new dawn if era an era where looks would be also be prioritised I want to see somali men not be lazy but by being healthy and fit. On my world you can't get any job position that's good unless your masculine, no bidaar and you take care of your looks. I'm tired of Somalis being the face for bakhti. I want those days over.

Thanks everything i say is for the best. If i was the leader I would make America look like a fairy dust. And yes I would implement sharia law. Allah laws comes first.
