He’s misinterpreting data. By Europeans, he means Greeks and Anatolians and they cluster with Eastern populations like people from the Levent. Mind you, these white people would never consider a Syrian or Lebanese as white as well funnily enough.

It’s not surprising. Yes, white people did rule Egypt and form its elite. They weren’t the native population obviously. Egypt hasn’t had a native ruler from the 3rd-4th BCE until Egyptian independence. Sudanese, Roman, Greek, French, British, Turkish, Arab, Levantine people etc have all ruled Egypt in that time.
ThAt was the Greeks after the invasion of Alexandra. But this man is trying to claim that actual ancient Egyptians the ones who who built the pyramids ect were similar to Europeans.
Also, what does it even mean to be white? We wouldn’t class a Lebanese or Syrian as white but we’d class a Greek, despite Greeks having similar genetics as ME people. Western Europeans such as the English, Germans and the like have nothing to do with Ancient Egypt.

Mainland Greeks cluster with Italians and Balkans whilst in some islands like Cyprus they’re close to Middle Easterners.
